Nippon Television Network (NTV) has signed up GLAY to sing a theme song for all its soccer programs. NTV will broadcast World Cup preliminary matches on June 2 and 14. GLAY vocalist TAKURO said, “I hope our song can lift the players’ spirits so they can play exciting games.” The song “Starless Night” is featured on GLAY’s new album “VERB,” which will be released on June 11. |

 Two memorial concerts for the late X Japan guitarist hide, who committed suicide in 1998, will be held in Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on May 3 and 4. Current X Japan members and several groups and artists, such as LUNA SEA, T.M. Revolution and DJ OZMA, will take part in the two-day event. |
